This is so not crappy hun! I really love it! It is so beautiful. Your anatomy is so perfect, and I just love those wings... They are so gorgeous! The coloring is also very beautiful and bright. I just love how it appears to glow.

I'm pretty sure one of the last things I see when I look at this is a crappy drawing. So.. stop being so down on yourself.
The vibrant colours look good in this. And I love the crosshatched bits.
Also, does the bracelet symbolize any sort of religion? That's prolly a stupid question.. but yeah.
AND WOAH.
I just realized the lineart changes from dark blue to light blue in spots.
Was that intentional or just from the scan?
It looks really cool either way.
Yeah, it scanned a bit bright so it got mutated, but it was originally outlined in blue, and then I went over it in dark blue in the shadows/darker areas. So it was intentional, but the scanner did stuff to it. X3
And to answer your previous questions, yes, it is a symbol of religion. For the past year I have really started to feel more connected to my faith (Christianity) -I've always followed it since I can remember-, so I include a cross randomly on some of my pieces, as decoration or sometimes it has a personal meaning when I include it.
Thank you for both the great comments and the fave!! :3
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
